After reading an article from Science World about the history of listening to music, Mentasta high school students experimented with making gramophones. We were fascinated to actually hear music using just a record, sewing needle, and paper cone. To improve the sound, students varied the needle angle and spinning technique. Students were able to compare and contrast their listening style to Mrs. Good.
